Story
100km in one day? Yes please!
What started out as a very simple “yeh we could do that” has turned into something bigger.
The John Hunter Children’s Hospital have provided amazing care to our family over the past 17 months. But they do so daily for so many families in the Hunter. The Childrens Hospital in Newcastle, one of three childrens hospitals in NSW, will over the course of a year see almost 25,000 children and young people present to the emergency department, have 9,000 admitted to hospital and perform over 100,000 occasions of service through outpatient clinics.
Wanting to do something for a while now to try and give back to the people that have had such a big impact on our life.
So, in order to try and give back, myself and Elton from @neverrunclub have decided to challenge ourselves to run 100kms in a single day to raise funds for a great cause that hits close to home.
On Monday June 12th, Elton and I will be hitting the pavement at Newcastle Foreshore to try and clock up 100km.
So anyone and everyone out there that would like to contribute in any way, whether it be coming down and joining in for some mindful miles, sharing the msg or even a small donation, your support is hugely appreciated!
It’s going to be an epic day and can’t wait!
No human is limited!.
The E’s.
