Throughout the year we will be volunteering at the kitchen and our physical challenge is to run 10 races of 10km, taking part in organised races on bank holidays and weekends. We want to raise £10,000. Our pledge over recent years has been to match any sponsorship or donation made to our Just Giving page, and this year is no exception, helping to provide much needed funds for Newbury Soup Kitchen.

Newbury Soup Kitchen is a voluntary organisation, providing help & support people experiencing homelessness & vulnerably housed. All are greeted with hot food, outreach & advocacy at different sessions throughout the week. We are currently looking for a building in Newbury to provide a bigger & more comprehensive service. We do however provide shower tokens, drug/alcohol support outreach, laundry vouchers, benefit advice, hair cuts, community nurses, liver scans, eye tests & much more. Improving the lives of those in our community.
