Erne cot adventures are planning to row a traditional Erne cot from Knockninny to Innishmasaint in early September. This 20 mile journey follows the route made by St Ninnidh in the 6th century. We are doing this to raise funds for SWELL a cancer charity based in Enniskillen to help all people of fermanagh who are suffering and affected by cancer. The erne cot is a traditional flat bottomed boat which is unique to Lough Erne and has been used on the Erne system for near a thousand years. There will be a team of approximately 6 to 8 rowers.
