Hi, I'm Erin. Me and my 2 friends Maddy and Ella will be running the Southampton ABP 10k for Anthony Nolan on 7th April!

Anthony Nolan is very close to us. They do life saving work to match people with blood cancer and other disorders to people who are on the donor register to receive stem cell transplants that can give them another chance of life.

I was first diagnosed with blood cancer in 2021, at age 17. Since then I have relapsed 3 times, and in April 2023 I was told I was to have a stem cell transplant in the coming year. Since then I have been receiving immunotherapy and soon radiotherapy to get me in a position to have my transplant. Without the charity Anthony Nolan I wouldn't be able to find a donor to provide this life saving treatment. Their work is amazing, I've seen first hand the wonders it can do and life it can give people back. I am due to have my transplant in May of this year, and thought what better time to do this run with my friends.

I met Maddy and Ella when I went university in September. They have been the biggest support throughout the recent months I have known them - who better to run this 10K with.
