Since December 2012 our foodbank has delivered more than 340,000 meals to referred clients within 6 miles of our warehouse based in Killamarsh. The cost of living crisis has impacted the donations and the demand for this valuable community service.

Story

Sudden lost of employment, change in health, relationship breakdown, death of a partner, illness and the like. These things happen everyday to local residents and whilst we can't change the event, New Hope Foodbank exists to help in a practical way. Referred clients are supported by providing 3 meals per day for 7 days, per family member. The foodbank delivers all parcels to clients within 24 hours of referral as we cover a very rural area. Foodbank is open Monday to Friday.

About the charity

We are an active community church working with front-line care agencies via our food-bank and furniture project. We run a charity shop to help fund the ministries of the church and also support people into employment through Job club and volunteering opportunities. Additional ministries include Job Club, community mental health support and "tots" stay and play group.
