Ali & Erin’s London Marathon 2025 for Sarcoma UK

Fundraising for Sarcoma UK
In 2025, our Mum and Daughter duo (Ali and Erin) are running the London Marathon for Team Sarcoma UK!!
Upholding what is becoming a longstanding family tradition and an ever growing Team Steph, we are running in memory of Stephanie Darling - Ali's sister, Erin's Auntie.
Before Steph was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma, she ran the London and New York marathons. So in her memory, our family have raised over £100,000 for Sarcoma UK in a number of ways, but the London Marathon has become particularly special to our family.
It will be Erin's second London Marathon for Sarcoma at the age of 20, and a special 1st Marathon 50th Birthday present for Ali!
On the day we hope to run together as a team, a challenge we're facing while we train from different sides of the Country!
Please stay tuned on our fundraising page for updates in the next few months.
Thank you for visiting our page. We’ve chosen to run the 2025 London Marathon for Sarcoma UK, a charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this.
Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:
£25 Could fund a Research Associate to work on a Sarcoma UK research project for one hour.
£334 Could fund Sarcoma UK's specialist Support Line for a day.
£2,000 Could help with the manufacture of a new-generation drug (PROTAC) which specifically targets sarcoma proteins and could reduce treatment side-effects.
Thank you for helping us make an impact.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
