We provide wigs to children with cancer to restore their confidence and identity.

Story

A few years ago Erika’s grandmother lost her battle to cancer. This is a cause that has always been close to our family’s heart.

After creating and selling emergency bracelets a few years ago (for kids to wear with their parents phone numbers on) and doing the daily 100skips October month to raise money for cancer research, Erika has now grown enough hair to be able to donate it to other kids who may need it.

The big cut will happen in March, she would like to do it on Spring day so we are hoping we can get an appointment on that day and that would leave some time for the hair to grow stronger (she is hoping to donate 13inches long) and to -hopefully- raise money for this beautiful cause.

Any contribution would be gratefully received and even small contributions count. It costs £700 to provide a wig for a young person and Erika’s target is £350 as she hopes to be able to contribute to half a wig although £700 would be absolutely amazing!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
