Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In January 2023, our much loved and highly respected colleague Andy Barnes, received the devastating news that he had a Brain Tumour which required emergency surgery. Following his operation he underwent grueling rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Andy has shown immense courage throughout his fight against cancer, and has been supported by the exceptional care and unwavering support provided by the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

As Andy's colleagues it is our honour to take part in the Rosemere Cancer Foundations Walk in the Dark on saturday the 27th of April, to raise vital funds for this amazing charity, in gratitude of the care that Andy has received.

The Walk in the Dark event, is an 11 mile walk from Chorley Hospital to Preston Hospital.

If you wish to join us in supporting this truly amazing cause, all donations [big or small] will be greatly appreciated.
