In late 2017 I joined World Ocean School (WOS) as an Americorp Deckhand Educator, and the experience changed my life! The opportunity to not just experience the sea in such a special way (there are few experiences that can create a connection to the ocean like sailing), but also become a part of the history of the incredible vessels that WOS and its students are stewards of is extraordinary.
