Equistone is proud to support Working Options in Education as its 2023 Charity of the Year by raising funds for the important work that they do to give young people employability and life skills to help them aim high and fulfil their potential.
On 14 September 2023, an Equistone team will take on the challenge to trek 25km in 8 hours across the Peak District to raise funds for Working Options. The Equistone team consists of 22 people who will hike around Britain’s first National Park, across moorland and alongside the Ladybower Reservoir for this invaluable charity.
Working Options in Education is a national employability and life skills charity working with young people (aged 14-19 years).
Delivering free real-life training, inspirational talks, and tangible opportunities for work experience and jobs – in state schools, colleges and online through their dedicated industry volunteers.
Working Options enables talent from all walks of life to contribute to a thriving workforce and economy, while prioritising those from the most under-served areas of the country.
We are excited to take on this challenge and hopefully raise as much as possible.
