Penny is Naomi’s goddaughter and was a normal developing child until the age of two, at which time an unexplained acquired brain injury accrued.

Penny’s parents, Heather and Iain, have had to go in search of alternative treatments in order to help their little girl.

In 2023 Penny went to New York to undergo specialist therapies, as a result of which she has come on leaps and bounds. Heather and Iain plan to visit New York with Penny once again in May 2024 in order for her to undergo further treatment.
