Event: 100 Miles in February - Mater Hospital Foundation, from 1 February 2024 to 29 February 2024
Walk, jog or run 100 miles in a month with the Mater Foundation this February and help raise vital funds to support life-saving and life-changing 'Cardiac Care' for patients and their families in the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Story

This February, I'm helping fund life-changing and life-saving equipment by taking part in the Mater Hospital Foundation's 100 Miles in a Month campaign.

As many of you are aware, myself and Caoimhe had to put our lives on hold last Summer when she was admitted to the Mater following her diagnosis with a rare cardiac condition.

She is receiving excellent care and we are hugely appreciative of the excellent work done by all the receptionists, porters, nurses, doctors, cardiac specialists, consultants and in particular the amazing staff of the Cardiac Care Unit and the Oncology Day Ward.

Donate

You can donate via JustGiving using the details on this page - every euro raised counts and will make a huge difference !

All the money raised will go towards funding enhanced cardiac care and new equipment for the Mater Hospital.

The Challenge

The challenge requires me to run 100 miles over the month of February - if fund-raising goes well, I might even include a few extra bonus miles !
