Story

On August the 10th 2024 we have decided to walk/climb/crawl Scafell Pike which is the highest peak in England. We are raising money for the National Autistic Society which I'm sure you all know is something close to our hearts both personally and through our jobs.

Neither of us are too keen on heights and I am petrified! I cant even go up a step ladder, a 1st floor window is too high for me!

Some good friends have asked why we are climbing a mountain and not doing something that doesn't involve heights! People who are autistic are in situations that make them uncomfortable, scared, anxious, out of their comfort zone and so much more daily. We only have to experience this for a few hours not everyday. When we have completed this we will be lucky enough to be back on low ground.

Also surely it's not that high?..........

If you are able to help and donate a few pounds it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
