The main focus of our research at Leicester is in the management of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) from laboratory research, to genetic links behind AAA and new treatments to make surgery safer.

Story

I am running the London Marathon on 21st April 2024, and fundraising for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) research carried out by Leicester University.

This is in memory of my late father, Brian Killen. Very much loved and missed every day. In the hope that people can receive better assessment and treatment outcomes, reducing mortality and improving quality of life with findings.

Many thanks to my very supportive running club, Sedgefield Harriers who gave permission for me to fundraise as I was lucky enough to receive the club allocated place 💙🤍 and for everyone's support on my journey so far!

Any donations or well wishes are very gratefully received 😊
