Kathryn's fundraiser for Marie Curie

England Hill Tractor Run · 4 May 2025
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
Our family have organised 5 x Tractor Runs around Holderness since the chief vintage tractor restorer in our family, Kathryn & Helen’s Dad, David passed away in November 2017.
Together with his pals, in his last few years, David loved nothing more than getting out & about on one of his 4 grey fergies, or lovingly restoring one that had fallen by the wayside a little, and bringing it back to life, then showing it at one of the local rallies or runs.
We were fortunate to be able to have Marie Curie help us care for Dad / David in his last months.
We’re so grateful for their help…. And want to help others in similar situations.
What Marie Curie say…,
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to help them continue their vital work. We’re delighted to have been able to raise more than £12,000 for this wonderful charity over the previous 4 events we’ve organised, we, with your help, would just like to add a little bit more to that total.
