In our local area, there is an estimated 9,000 local children who do not have a bed of their own to sleep in at night. These children will be sleeping on the floor, on a mattress on the floor, sharing with a sibling(s), or even sharing a bed with their parent(s).

Not having a bed to sleep in for a child at the most critical time of their lives as their physical and mental development will affect their education and their potential right into adulthood.

Child bed poverty should not exist in our communities and we are raising funds to buy brand new bed bundles for local children - this will be a new bed, new mattress, and all the necessary bedding.
