The NUH Arts Programme brings music, poetry and colour to Nottingham's hospitals. Arts Coordinator Megan Dawes organises a range of creative sessions for patients and staff, as well as enhancing corridors and rooms with visual arts. Megan works closely with the Staff Wellbeing team, to add arts forms to their already brilliantly varied offering.
There are exciting projects coming up, including an arts trail, a visual arts project for stroke rehabilitation areas and increased opportunities for both staff and patients to enjoy music and participatory arts.
The Arts Programme can only do all this with your help. You can make a real difference to the experience, especially of long-term patients, children and people with life-limiting illnesses. Thank you for supporting this important work.
