Story
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. Because the LPT provides free wigs to young people, they rely on hair and financial donations.
To provide one real hair wig to a young person, it costs £700. This covers the making, fitting and styling of the wig.
Wigs can help people suffering from hair loss look and feel more like themselves. In my family's experience with cancer, hair loss was a difficult and distressing side effect of the treatment as well as a reminder of what they were going through.
I have been blessed with long hair and have been growing it out for a while now. As I get ready to cut and donate my hair, it would be great if you can join me in giving toward my goal of £700.
