I am choosing to spend my 11th birthday doing the Overgate Firewalk to raise money in memory of my granny, Linda who passed away at the Hospice two years ago.

Overgate Hospice provides expert care, support, advice and information for patients and their families, carers and loved ones.

The team at Overgate can help relieve a persons symptoms, including pain management, along with their Patient and Family Support Team who can help with adjusting to day-to-day life living with an illness. They also offer Bereavement Support, Carers Group and a Drop-In Service.

All the services are free of charge and are available to people living in the Calderdale area who are over 18 years old.

After being overwhelmed and encouraged by support from family, friends and even teachers, smashing his original £100 target in under two hours! Stanley has decided to raise the bar and aim high, hoping to achieve a £500 target for Overgate.
