On September 8th 2024, a group of Hospice staff that work at Tŷ Hafan will walk 25 kilometres to celebrate 25 years of Tŷ Hafan.

The challenge will take the teams from Roath Park in Cardiff through Bute Park, Cardiff Bay, Penarth and ending at Tŷ Hafan Hospice in Sully.

A fundamental part of our role is supporting children and young people to have the best quality of life and make precious memories. Our ambition is to raise money to get a new adapted vehicle to take children and young people out on trips and have access to different opportunities within the community.

Being a part of the wonderful care team I’m hoping to raise money to contribute to the new vehicle so we can take the children out on trips which they love to do! This is such a vital part of their stays to have access to days out, being able to experience new areas and we’d love to be able to take them out more with our own vehicle that’s fully adapted for all their needs.
