Story
On the 26th July, the day the 2024 Olympics starts, me and 13 other riders aged from 16 to 55 will set-off from St. Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate to ride all the way to Paris; 6 days in the saddle and a total of 600km. The basic route is Harrogate to Hull; overnight ferry to Rotterdam; Rotterdam to Middelburg in the Netherlands; Middelburg to Oudernaade in Belgium; Oudernaade to Arras in northern France; Arras to Compiegne and Compiegne to Paris. This is a self-funded trip and all being well we will be in Paris to see the bike road races featuring Yorkshire’s Lizzie Deignan.
We are raising money for St. Michael’s Hospice which does absolutely amazing work to provide palliative care for people of all ages who are suffering from terminal illnesses. All the staff and volunteers go above and beyond every day. “Hospice care is like a great big pair of arms surrounding you. It’s a haven, it makes you feel so safe and peaceful and looked after."

We and St. Michael’s would be delighted if you could make a donation, however small. Your support will help us keep the pedals turning each day.
Thank you!
