I would love my family and friends to support me to take the plunge and swim half a mile in lake Windermere whilst raising money for this amazing charity.

It’s been a tough two years for us with Andrew suffering so much from all his long Covid illnesses. It’s impact has been very severe and I’ve found it hard on my own mental health and wellbeing too.

So to push myself out of those negative places and struggles, spend time in nature, in open water - I’m doing this challenge !

Andrew’s dad, my Granny and Grandma all suffered with varying degrees of dementia which I know impacts many families.

We would like to support the great work Together Dementia Support deliver locally in Manchester.

They help people to live actively, socially and positively, with support for both people living with Dementia and their loved ones. An extremely valuable service provided to a growing need in our community.
