In July 2024 Emma and I are taking on the National Three Peaks! After completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Make 2nds Count in July 2022 we decided it was time for our next challenge. The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales and the aim is to do this within 24 hours. Being over twice the ascent of the Yorkshire 3, this is by far our biggest challenge yet!

This time we have decided to fundraise for North West Cancer Research. After losing our dear friend Laura from secondary breast cancer in 2020 we knew we wanted to continue her phenomenal efforts in raising money for well needed research into cancer treatment development. This year we felt we would choose a charity a little closer to home, at a time where we both have family members who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. Scarily living in the North West we are 25% more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than anywhere else in the UK.

I think we all know someone who is affected by cancer one way or another and we hope that you will sponsor kindly in the hope that we can make even a small difference in the ongoing fight against cancer.
