Story

I'm joining Oliver's Army and taking on a 30-day step challenge to raise money for Day One Trauma Support. Starting Monday 10th October I will be completing 300,000 steps, 10,000 steps a day over the next 30 days.

Oliver suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car crash. A good friend of my daughter and son in law he went to high school where I was, at the time, the exams officer. It's fair to say he was an absolute pain at school, especially in exams! I was devastated to hear about his accident and could only imagine what his mum and family were going through. Despite coping with life changing injuries he continues to be that cheeky, sarcastic young man - his humor definitely remains questionable though! :-)

Day One is a national charity, helping people rebuild their life after a catastrophic injury and was there for Oliver and his family. I believe they should be there for anyone coping with a life-changing injury.
