This cause is close to my heart, having overcome cancer in childhood. The support and care I received from Birmingham children's hospital was second to none during the gruelling 12 months of treatment, and I was fortunate to come out the other side. My wish is for all people affected by cancer, especially the young, to survive and thrive.
