Story

We are doing the Great North Run 2024 in memory of our lovely dad, husband and friend Peter Davies.

We’re raising money for St. John’s Hospice, who provided night-time carers so that the end of Peter’s life could be spent at home, with his family, in dignity and peace.

About the charity

St John's Hospice provides care to patients with life limiting conditions throughout North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. We have an in-patient ward, a hospice at home service, Clinical Nurse Specialists, bereavement support and a number of other vital services.
