Stour Valley Marathon Walk, 13 July 2024
In memory of Lizzie Bramall
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Emma, Eleanor and Alice are joining sister/aunt Sally and friend Angela on a marathon walk of the Stour Valley Path in Suffolk to raise awareness and funds for research into childhood brain tumours. The walk is in memory of Sally’s daughter Lizzie, our beloved niece and cousin, and Angela’s son William and so many other children lost too soon to the devastating impact of brain tumours.

On Saturday 13th July, we are walking a 26.2 mile Marathon, from Cavendish following the path of the River Stour and finishing in Sally and Angela’s home village of Nayland.

Money raised will go to Lizzie’s Fund, a supporter group for The Brain Tumour Charity, which funds projects for research into childhood brain tumours.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young adults so a cure really can’t wait.

Thank you for your support.
