I will be taking part in a charity mountain trek later this month and would love you to sponsor me.

The trek is in aid of St George's School in Gondar, Ethiopia. The school educates 500 of the poorest children in the region from the ages of 5-18 and is supported by NAEF (Northwood African Education Foundation). I am one of 20 mums who who will be setting out for three days hiking the Tour des Fiz - a remote mountain trail route on the Fiz Massif, which is a little known mountain range adjoining Mont Blanc in the French Alps. We will be hiking to altitudes of almost double the height of Ben Nevis and sleeping in basic remote mountain refuges.

I am funding the trek myself and by sponsoring me you will be helping to raise much needed funds for the children at St. George's School, Ethiopia. I realise that it's not a great time to be asking for donations, but this is such a worthy cause and anything you can donate would be much appreciated and a wonderful help.

We leave for the Alps on 20th Sept and I promise to keep you updated on my progress!
