Story

As many of you may know, I recently lost my beloved Nanny Iris to dementia. It has been an incredibly challenging few months for my family as we witnessed the gradual decline of her memory. Despite the difficulties, she always managed to share a smile, reminding us of the love that remains even in tough times.

In her honor, I am participating in the March Dog Walking Challenge 2025. On March 1st, I will be walking 62 kilometers alongside my loyal dog, Albus. This challenge is not just a personal journey; it is a commitment to ensure that no family faces dementia alone.

I invite you to join me in making a difference. Your support can have a profound impact: just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking guidance through Dementia UK's free Helpline. Additionally, £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse who provides essential emotional support and practical solutions for families navigating this difficult journey.

Please consider donating or sharing my fundraising page. Together, we can help bring hope and assistance to those affected by dementia.
