Story

How has it been a year since I last did this?!

After last year’ success (I raised £750!) I’ve set my target a little higher this time and hope to smash it again :)

I’m also planning to bring some of my classmates along this year to help raise awareness of super rare conditions; it is Super Rare Disease Day on February 29th.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The walk will be held on Saturday 9th March 2024 with an expected meet time of 10.45am. We aim to complete the hike in under 1 hour to include as many people as possible. Keep an eye for updates!

We are a group of patients, carers, doctors, and scientists who are all interested in patients with rare inherited anaemia. We want patients with rare inherited anaemias to be able to meet each other (virtually or in reality) and help and support each other. We want to give out reliable information about rare inherited anaemias and get your questions answered by doctors in the field. We want to raise money to fund research so we can better understand these conditions and improve the diagnosis and treatments available. We’re keen
