Story

It was 5 years ago when I was diagnosed with a serious eating disorder, anorexia nervosa.
It was and still is the biggest battle I have ever faced.

It took 4 years of help and support from the amazing eating disorder service, my brilliant family and friends and of course Beat.

There were many times when I thought I couldn't do it and It took every bit of strength I had to fight and gain control to make my recovery.

There are 1.25 million sufferers in the UK today, I was one of them. Beat was there for me via web chats but there were other ways I could have made contact.

To support this great charity I am going to walk 12.5 miles to raise as much money as possible.
