Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We will be completing the Santa dash this year to raise money for the amazing Honeysuckle Team at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital❤️

The Honeysuckle Team are a dedicated baby bereavement team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. They provide invaluable care for women and their families following pregnancy loss at any gestation and early neonatal death. They are real life earth angels & helped both of our families so much during the most difficult time of our lives💔

In August this year, a doctor at the women’s hospital told me that I was miscarrying & unfortunately after trying everything there was nothing that could be done to prevent the inevitable💔 Our precious boy was born 29/08/2024 at 16:33pm at 18 weeks 2 days. We got 3 of the most special hours & 17 minutes with him before his little heart stopped beating & his lungs stopped breathing, where he felt safe & content on his daddy’s chest💔 We have the most special memories that we will cherish forever🥹🩵

Words cant express how grateful we are to all the incredible staff who cared for both of our families during this time❤️

Please donate anything if you can, every donation is appreciated and it will mean this team can continue to support bereaved families xxx

Cody Birkett, mummy & daddy love you so much, our little guardian angel in the sky forever👼🏼🪽✨🩵
