Story

Hey everyone!

This April, I’ll be taking on two big challenges to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK—abseiling down the Europa Hotel (6th April 2025) and completing 1,500 squats throughout the month of April!

As some of you may know, I was diagnosed with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) at the age of 7. FSHD is a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness, often beginning in the face, shoulders, and upper arms before affecting other muscles in the body. There is currently no cure, and for many, it leads to significant mobility loss.

Recently, I lost my Nana, who also had muscular dystrophy. We always saw it as our ‘superpower’, something special that we shared. I’m taking on this challenge in her memory and to help fund vital research, provide essential aids, and support those living with this condition.

Without research and funding, I wouldn’t have been able to receive two life-changing surgeries that have made my life with MD much easier. Now, I want to help give someone else that same chance.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me. Let’s make a difference together!

Thank you for your support!
