Story

I am taking up a Challenge4Cynthia and being a Hospice Hero.

I'm aiming to raise £150 which would fund 10 hours worth of Hospice at Home visits for patients in the community.

Hospice at Home provided such brilliant care and support when my Grandad had pancreatic cancer back in 2019, and he needed end of life care. Not only were they there for my Grandad but for my Nan and the rest of my family as well.

As a district nurse I work closely alongside many friends and colleagues from Cynthia Spencer Hospice who help to provide care to patients who are palliative and in their last days of lives. It’s something I’m really passionate about and something so important, as we only get one chance to get it right.

Please help by sponsoring my challenge as I strive to make a difference whilst their care team continue to work tirelessly on the front line to help others in need!

Together we can make a difference to end of life care - thank you for your support.
