Story
In September me and my Mum are taking on the Spanish Three Peaks challenge to raise money for LOROS Hospice.
We’ll be climbing three of the highest peaks in Spain over 3 days, Alcazaba (3,371m), Veleta (3,394m) and Mulhacén (3,428m).
LOROS every year cares for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family, and carers. It costs £8.2 million a year to run LOROS and all its services. LOROS need to raise £6 million of the total each year with the remainder being provided by the NHS.
My Mum works for LOROS and has been a nurse for the NHS for over 40 years, she’s decided to take on this challenge and I’m heading up with her.
I would be grateful for anything you can give to help us raise lots of money!
Looks like I better get some training in!
