Story
In 2016, I lost my Grandad after a long battle with Dementia. He was an amazing man with a fun loving spirit. But in his later years, he was diagnosed with dementia, and it was heartbreaking to see him struggle with this disease and the impact on my Gran and wider family.
That's why I've decided to run the London Marathon in 2024 in his memory. I want to do something that will make a difference and help others who are affected by dementia. That's why I'm fundraising for BRACE - Alzheimer's Research.
BRACE is an incredible organization that is dedicated to defeating dementia. They're working hard to understand what causes this disease, achieve earlier diagnosis, and find new treatments. And their area of benefit is the whole human race - anyone, anywhere who might one day develop dementia.
But they can't do it alone. That's where you come in. By supporting my London Marathon run, you'll be helping BRACE continue their vital work and bring us one step closer to defeating dementia.
Please consider making a donation today and help me honor my Grandad's memory while making a real difference in the fight against dementia.
