On the 22nd of May 2017, I was directly affected by the tragic events of the Manchester Arena attack. Like many, I found myself in a situation no one should ever have to face—one where fear and uncertainty gripped the hearts of thousands in an instant. Despite the devastation, the outpouring of support and unity that followed showed the strength of our country.
In the aftermath, I’ve witnessed firsthand how important it is for us to come together, to offer our help, and to show that we are stronger than the acts of terror that try to break us. I’m sharing my story to raise funds for those still recovering from this and similar situations—whether physically, emotionally, or financially.
I’m raising money for two incredible charities that have been a vital source of support to many affected by the Manchester Arena bombing and many other tragic events. The Sparkle Bean Trust and The National Emergencies Trust have played a crucial role in providing ongoing assistance—whether through mental health services, financial aid, or community outreach. These organizations are there every step of the way, offering survivors the resources needed to cope with the trauma and rebuild their lives. The funds raised will directly contribute to their efforts, ensuring they can continue delivering vital support to victims and their families as we all work toward recovery. Your generosity will make a meaningful impact, not just for me, but for everyone still fighting to heal physically and mentally and move forward from these life changing events.
