Story
I'm wing walking on 20th June 2024 to raise money for Aerobility - read more about what they do below. Having worked at Gowrings Mobility and seen first hand how freedom and opportunity can transform a disabled person's life, and now, regularly working alongside aircraft at Popham Airfield, I felt this was a fantastic opportunity to raise money for this great charity. Oh, and it's my late grandad's birthday, so I'll be thinking of him too :)
Aerobility provides anyone with any disability access to the magic and wonder of flight.
Taking the controls of an aircraft drives a focus on capability and encourages flyers to ask the question "if I can fly an aeroplane, what else can I do?"
This makes everything else in life feel that little bit more achievable, whilst offering the ultimate feeling of freedom and escape from restrictions of disability.
Flying with Aerobility can deliver increased life ambition, leading to improved life opportunity, driving many beneficiaries toward more independent and personally fulfilling lives.
Aerobility represents the needs of those living with disability in aviation and is recognised as the leading expert in disabled flying.
