Story

This April I will be taking on the iconic London Marathon in aid of Meningitis Now!

Please support me with whatever you can, every penny counts.

I will be running this in memory of Ed Saunders, a friend of mine who suddenly passed away from the W strain of Meningitis just before starting uni in 2013. My friends and I went from discussing which parts of Freshers Week we were most excited for, to suddenly having to manage the crushing grief that comes with losing someone so young. Ed was a brilliant young man with an exciting future ahead of him. If me plodding along for 26.2 miles means another family doesn't have to lose their Ed then it will all have been worth it.
