Story

Hi I'm Emily and I've worked for South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust for almost 10 years. For the last few years I've been helping out with the Trust's very small charity - it's completely run by volunteers! I would love to do something personally to support the Charity's amazing projects for patients and staff that go beyond what the NHS can fund. I've been able to see first hand what a difference it can make so I really appreciate anything you can give.

Although it is a "sprint" triathlon distance consisting of a 432m swim, 21km bike ride, and finishing off with a 5km run around Bushy Park, this will be my first ever triathlon so will very much be a challenge just to complete! I just started cycling last year and generally only do an occasional parkrun, not to mention only swimming on holiday so wish me luck!! My sister Sophie is kindly doing it with me for some moral support after doing her first one last year - thanks Sissy, let's do this!
