Hello, I'm Emily, and I'm excited (and a little nervous!) to be running my very first marathon in support of The Sick Children's Trust! This incredible charity provides free "Homes from Home" for families with serious ill children in the hospital, keeping them close during some of the most challenging moments in the lives.

Taking on 26.2 miles in no small challenge, but it is nothing compared to what these families go through every single day. Knowing I'll be helping to give parents a safe place to stay close to their child is all the motivation I need.

Every penny will go towards keeping families together when it matters most. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your support will make a huge difference. Thank you so much in advance for your generosity and helping support such an amazing cause.
