I am so unbelievably lucky that for a second time I will be volunteering for ‘Rams in Kenya’ in May 2025, where I will be travelling to the slums of Nakuru, Kenya. The trip will provide ongoing support to the schools which are situated in the poorest areas of Nakuru. Whilst I am there, I will be providing aid to five partner schools to improve sanitation, build new classrooms and facilities, increase safety measures and also support general teaching and physical activity within the schools.

As I am now in my second year of teaching, this trip is something I feel incredibly passionate towards. The poverty in which these children and families are living in is extreme, but having vital access to education, can ultimately change their lives forever. I feel so strongly that all children should have the right to an education, no matter their circumstance or where they live in the world; if I can help make this a reality for a couple of children at the very least, then it’s certainly a positive start! Therefore, I am asking for your help to raise as much money as possible to provide these children with the infrastructure and school resources that they so desperately need.
