I’m Walking 31 Miles to BLOCK CANCER
Fundraising for The American Cancer Society
Fundraising for The American Cancer Society
I am a faithful preventive healthcare patient, and when I went in for my annual mammogram this past September, my faith bore (rotten) fruit: there was an irregularity, and less than a week later, I became a cancer patient. About a month later, I had a lumpectomy + sentinel lymph node biopsy. It's radiation for Christmas, and hormone blockers in the New Year, yay!
SO - I'm walking at least 31 miles with our dog Bella (pictured above with me this past summer in Pentwater, MI) this December to help the American Cancer Society work toward a world without cancer, and I hope you'll support us with a donation to ACS (which has a platinum rating on GuideStar - the highest possible - so you can give with confidence).
Please consider donating because every little bit helps - and if you can't give this season, perhaps you can walk with us (wherever you are, and whether you have a pupper-dog or not)!
Thank you for your support, and Happy Holidays!
