Story
On the 27th of May, seven years will have passed since my son took his own life, leaving a void in our lives and in the world.
Last year, on his anniversary, we gathered with a small group of kind-hearted individuals to walk along the seafront in his memory. This year, we are turning this into an annual event, hoping to offer support and hope to the young people in our area. We want to show them that there is hope, that there can be a future where life feels bearable, and maybe even more than that. All they have to do is #JustStay.
We invite you to join us at the Spanish City next to the Cenotaph at 12pm on the anniversary of our loss as we walk together towards St Mary’s Lighthouse. Your presence alone would mean the world to us. If you're unable to attend, please consider sharing the event with your friends, family, and networks and ask them to donate a small amount to help. Lastly, if you are able to attend, please consider wearing something Batman-related - a symbol close to our hearts.
Our Event page is live and here:

Samaritans is a charity working tirelessly across the UK and Ireland to reduce the number of people who take their own lives and help those struggling with their emotions. Your support could make a significant difference - just £5 could help Samaritans answer a call for help, while £24 could help train and support Samaritans volunteers.
Thank you for considering our cause and for your continued support.
