The President’s charities for 2024 are the three Community Foundations in the East Midlands – Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation, Foundation Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire Community Foundation.

Community Foundations run affordable grant-giving funds for families, individuals, companies, the public sector, and they revitalise dormant trusts. They give those grants, with and for their donors and funders, to vital local charitable groups that help keep our communities thriving.

With the generous support of individuals, companies, and others from the NHS to Rolls-Royce plc who all use Community Foundations to reach those that need their help, we give millions of pounds in clearly defined support, mitigating some of the harshest effects of the cost-of-living crisis, and improving quality of life for all who live, work and do business in the East Midlands.
