Story
Hi I’m Elsa and I kayak (obviously)and I like cats, I’m doing a 47 mile kayak with Laburnum Boat Club to raise money for their A-Frame (the building it’s based in). Kayaking has always been a way for me to relax and have fun! As a young person with OCD, sometimes it’s been a massive struggle, however, the Laburnum staff have ALWAYS helped me and this is my way of saying thank you! Please donate as there is a light in the A-Frame that doesn’t work and is really annoying me. Also like the whole thing needs to be redone but like the lights annoying so priorities.

Enjoy some info on Laburnum:
Laburnum Boat Club was opened in 1983 by a group of local parents. We target disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable young people and provide fun, challenging and accessible activities that support young people to be the best they can be.
As a small charity any money raised is vital to keep our gates open and resources available for the young people we work with. This year we're on a mission to raise funds to re-develop our A-Frame giving the young people a warm, safe space to learn and grow as well as raising money to keep our iconic gates open.
A £5 donation will provide access for a disadvantaged young person to access our Youth Club for a day; £100 allows us to provide a free year's membership for a young person to come along as much as they like.
Please help us reach our goal and help secure Laburnums future. To find out more about what we do and our redevelopment plans please visit our website at www.laburnumboatclub.com
