Assalamu aleykum,

Our hearts bleed knowing what happened to Syrian and Turkish with the current Earthquake.

Our schools are raising funds which will be be donated to Islamic Relief who are on the ground distributing blankets, sheets and mattresses that they have in stock – but these will run out soon and they need more as soon as possible.

People urgently need tents, food parcels and blankets. Hospitals are inundated with injured people so they are providing them with medicine and other supplies.

"Anyone who relieves a hardship for a believer in this world, Allah will relieve one of his hardships on the Day of Resurrection. Anyone who makes things easy for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter."
