I’m lacing up my shoes to run LLHM again this year, raising money for Live Music Now! Through Live Music Now, I’ve played in care homes, nurseries, hospices, libraries, SEN schools, exclusion schools, colleges, hospitals, festivals...and even live-streamed to most of the primary schools in Merseyside! 

LMN provides work for not just me but around 250 musicians, introducing us to some incredible and inspiring audiences, to whom music can really make a big difference. 

I began running in lockdown, when we were allowed to exercise outside a bit more. I well and truly caught the running bug - I started competing in virtual 10ks and half marathons, and transitioned to running in real races when they started up again. In 2023 I ran LLHM to raise money for Live Music Now and had a blast! This year I want to beat my previous time and, with your help, my target too! And what’s more, I’m going to make my day that bit harder by playing a gig after crossing the finish line! More info on that to come!
