For my CIH presidential campaign I am asking everyone to CHOOSE HOUSING.
For my CIH presidential campaign, I am encouraging everyone to CHOOSE HOUSING. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the career opportunities available in the housing sector, promote greater diversity, and inspire more individuals to pursue housing as a career of choice. By doing so, we hope to create more opportunities for people to join the sector.
In addition to my campaign, I am fundraising for Barnardo's, a charity that provides crucial support to children and young people. Barnardo’s helps children navigate challenges and move into adulthood with hope and confidence, offering career guidance and opportunities along the way, which closely aligns with my campaign’s mission.
To further support this incredible charity, I’m inviting you to join me for an exciting abseil event on 13 June 2025 at St John’s Hill in Wandsworth, South-West London. St John’s Hill is a 1930s Peabody estate next to Clapham Junction railway station, which is currently undergoing an ambitious regeneration project. The site, originally home to the Royal Masonic School, was purchased in 1934 and later transformed into 353 homes across 13 blocks. These homes have since been modernised, and now, St John’s Hill is being redeveloped into Burridge Gardens, which will include 658 new homes, many of which will be affordable and energy-efficient, with solar panels and a district heating system.
If you would like to take part in the abseil please email Elly.Hoult@peabody.org.uk for further details.
I am incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity in supporting this cause, which makes such a meaningful impact. Please sign up below to be part of this exciting challenge and help raise funds for Barnardo’s while experiencing the thrill of the abseil!
