Ellis Jones's fundraiser for Bowel Cancer UK

Fundraising Walk · 28 September 2024
In September of last year, the Ellis Jones London office expanded with the recruitment of James Constable, a Senior Associate in the Crime and Regulatory department. Unfortunately, James was diagnosed with bowel cancer a few weeks later.
Since being diagnosed, James has undergone a series of treatments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, whilst also juggling family life, with two young daughters. Although treatment has been challenging and lengthy, and the past few months have not shaped into the start at EJ that James had hoped for, to our amazement James has continued working from home, performing extremely well and has been planning ahead for his return to the office.
The London Office have decided to take on a challenge in honour of James’ determination and have organised a fundraising walk to take place this September for Bowel Cancer UK.
Together, we’ll be setting off early to complete a 25 mile walk in Oxford and the surrounding areas. In any weather, and with as many participants as possible, we’ll be persevering to the finish line.
So, get your walking boots on and join us in raising money for a wonderful charity!
